The 2026 RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid features a next-generation powertrain combining a 2.5-litre engine, dual electric motors, and a larger battery, producing 324 system horsepower—an increase over the previous generation. The manufacturer-estimated all-electric driving range reaches up to 80 kilometres, while AWD comes standard across all trims. Technology upgrades include the latest Toyota Multimedia system with 5G connectivity, larger touchscreens up to 12.9 inches, customizable driver profiles, wireless smartphone integration, and enhanced connected services. For the first time, Toyota also introduces a RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid GR SPORT, developed with Toyota GAZOO Racing and featuring sport-tuned suspension, unique styling, and performance-inspired design elements.
