The 2026 Toyota GR86 Yuzu Edition

A Tribute to Toyota’s Racing Spirit

Toyota is lighting up the streets once again with the 2026 Toyota GR86 Yuzu Edition — a limited-production model that blends stunning design with race-inspired performance. Finished in a striking Yuzu Yellow with black accents and matte black wheels, this bold new GR86 pays homage to the legendary Scion FR-S Release Series 1.0 while pushing Toyota’s Gazoo Racing heritage into the future.

Track DNA Meets Daily Drive

Developed by TOYOTA GAZOO RACING, the GR86 draws from decades of motorsport expertise. At its core lies a 2.4-litre naturally aspirated Flat-4 boxer engine with Toyota’s D-4S dual injection system, producing 228 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque at 3,700 RPM. Whether paired with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, the GR86 delivers instant throttle response and a smooth, linear power curve.

A Torsen limited-slip differential ensures optimal traction through every corner, while its lightweight aluminum panels, double-wishbone rear suspension, and precise electric power steering make it one of the most agile sports coupes on the road.

Aerodynamics with Attitude

The Yuzu Edition’s athletic stance and low centre of gravity are complemented by a functional body design that enhances performance. Air intakes, side sill spoilers, and rear fins are engineered to increase downforce and stability, keeping the car planted even at high speeds. Every design cue — from its sculpted hood to its rear spoiler — serves both style and substance.

Driver-Focused Interior

Inside, the GR86 balances sport and comfort with a 2+2 seating layout, deeply bolstered sport seats, and driver-centric ergonomics. Toggle-style controls allow tactile feedback without distraction, while a digital instrument cluster offers a Track mode that displays real-time data like gear position and RPM.

The Yuzu Edition’s cabin adds an exclusive touch with yellow stitching and perforated leather accents on the steering wheel, shift knob, and seats — a subtle nod to its exterior colourway.

Technology and Connectivity

Every GR86 comes equipped with a user-friendly eight-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, Bluetooth®, USB ports, and SiriusXM® Satellite Radio. The integrated Remote Connect, Safety Connect, and Service Connect systems keep drivers in tune with their vehicle’s health and safety at all times.

Safety and Confidence

Toyota ensures that performance doesn’t compromise peace of mind. The GR86 features Toyota’s Active Safety Suite, offering Pre-Collision Braking, Active Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Sway Warning, and more. Combined with the Toyota Star Safety System, seven airbags, and a backup camera, it’s a car designed to protect as well as perform.
